Information submitted by you
We collect information about you when you input it into the Apps or otherwise provide it directly to us.
- Account and Profile Information. We collect information about you when you register for an account and sign-up for optional Synchronization & Backup Service. You provide your email and password.
- We store information about your tracks, playlists, and listening progress to sync this information between your devices only when you sign up to Synchronization & Backup Services.
- Information you provide through our support channels. This includes customer support, where you may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing with the App.
Information we collect automatically when you use the Apps
When you use our Apps certain anonymized statistics is automatically collected, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system and the events within the application, for example which cloud services are being used. Such information is recorded with third parties like Flurry Analytics or Google Firebase Analytics in order to give us the possibility to continuously improve the App.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services like Flurry Analytics or Google Firebase Analytics to help us improve the Apps and our service.
Email addresses are only used for logging in, password resets, responding to emails that you initiate, and notifications that you request. We don’t send promotional emails.
Usage of your data in the cloud
When you login into cloud storage of your choice in the app, be it Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, Mediafire, pCloud or your personal cloud server, you grant App access to your files. This is required for the App to download or stream audio files from the cloud storage. Downloaded files are saved in the app folder on your device.
Accessing, changing, or deleting your information
You may delete your account used for Synchronization & Backup Service from the App.
Deleted information may be kept in backups for up to 90 days. Backups are encrypted and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery.
Information for European Union Customers
By using Apps and providing your information, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.
Information collected on or through the Apps may be stored and processed in any country in which Cloudbeats and the third parties it works with maintain facilities, including outside of the European Union. In this regard, or for purposes of sharing or disclosing data Cloudbeats reserves the right to transfer information outside of your country. By using the Apps and related Services you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.
