When you connect Google Drive in the Apps, we need your email and Google account identifier (“accountId”) from your Google profile in order to obtain a temporary OAuth access token for Apps to access your Google Drive files. Once you connect your Google Drive account to the application, it uses an OAuth access token and the official Google Drive SDK https://developers.google.com/drive/api/guides/about-sdk to handle requests to the Google Drive server. We do not collect and store emails. The anonymised accountId is used to uniquely identify cached data as some of our Apps allow more than one connected Google account and is stored on the secure system storage on your device.

In order for the Apps to play and download audio files you need to grant access for the Apps to your Google Drive files. Access of the Apps to files is limited to certain audio type files extensions (mp3, mp4, flac etc) and album art images with predefined names like “folder.jpg”, “cover.jpg”. This list may vary between iOS and Android Apps, it also may change as the functional capabilities of the Apps evolve.
